August DHUWA Co obtained Supply Nation registration.

June  The brand launched a creative campaign “a perfect brew in any language” celebrating Indigenous language in conjunction with a PR communications plan with the message reconciliation in a cup.

May  DHUWA Co launched eight products with a mix of coffee beans and ground coffee into 100 Woolworths Supermarkets

April DHUWA Co obtained Kinaway Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce Victoria certification.

February  DHUWA Co successfully pitched three blends into Woolworths, Australia’s largest retailer.

January DHUWA Beverages Pty Ltd was established trading as DHUWA Co.  

A modern Indigenous business, DHUWA Co is an Indigenous-owned and operated partnership with Griffiths Bros. pairing the oldest culture in the world with Australia’s oldest coffee roaster. This partnership was formed over a shared passion of rich traditions, great coffee and reconciliation.

DHUWA Co brand repositioned, redesigned its visual identity and relaunched product mix at scale delivering premium coffee to the FMCG market.

A company committed to reconciliation DHUWA Co donates five per cent of every coffee product sold. Funds raised goes to charity partner Dreaming Futures. The Dreaming Futures organisation supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in Out of Home Care to experience Country, culture, and connection.

July  DHUWA means to feel alive in Bidjari language.
